i appreciate that you don't like government and you think government should get out of everything, but it is because the government isn't all that we have low-cost power. that is a fact. that is undeniably true. i am not suggesting we need to nationalize the oil companies. i tended to agree with you that we need to do all of the budget. the question, our human beings warming the planet, and he said -- you said no. i know people don't change, i know they are concerned about the cost. but we grow our food outside, andmore vulnerable to adverse impacts -- and no state is the more vulnerable to adverse impacts on whether that nebraska. it is not like taking a piece of trash and throwing it on the ground and some will pick it up. it is not like a number of other things we're doing. you get to 600 parts per million, it takes 1600 years to reverse it. one of the things that politicians do is talk about children and grandchildren. if we don't do something about this problem -- i don't disagree about cap-and-trade, there are better ways to do it -- but if we don't identify the problem and use o

our government's not deciding their claims on a reasonable time is unexcusable. american legion service officers who are working around the clock to help veterans through their process and we all nova has added employees to help solve the problem but this is not enough. with more new claims out pacing decisions, we are going the wrong decrex. congress can no longer be simply concerned about this problem. we must work together to solve it. that does not mean simpler processes or fast decisions regardless of quality. we have found an alarming amount of inaccuracy of claims decisions made at v.a. regional offices throughout the country which and that only slose down the progress. earlier this year when congress summoned american legion officers for a hearing about the backlog, we were encouraged. these service officers have unique perspectives that can help v.a. contend with this biggest issue which we see many promises from v.a. it's time to roll up our sleeves and fix what's wrong with this system. if the social security administration and other federal benefits p
